My friends and I decided that Jell-o a soquid-- that's what we call it. I think it's a solid. As for pudding....I think that's a liquid. Great question! I just looked it up for you:

Jello is a liquid when you first mix hot water and the sugar/gelatin mix. The definition of a liquid is usually something that takes the shape of its container. Once it is hardened, it becomes a solid. A solid is something that can hold it's own shape. Now if you are talking about Jello pudding - that would be a liquid, because it takes the shape of whatever container is holding it. :-)

According to this web site, it's a "solid suspended in a liquid" -- a colloid. I would think that a pudding is the same.

jello is a quasi-good. I in simple terms did a technology honest project on it. Jello is largely made up of gelatin it really is largely collagen it really is a protein. warm water liquifies the collagen interior the powder yet because it cools the collagen varieties a matrix trapping water molecules interior. The collagen or gelatin solidifies. So it really is type of excellent and type of liquid. Liquid water is trapped for the time of it. Pudding's likely similar.
