Only if the stripes were vertical. Horizontal stripes just make people look fatter.

as long as the stripes are not horizontal and they run vertical you are fine.
Small vertical lines are ideal. Stick with darker colors.
When in doubt, get a bigger medallion and it will make you look smaller. :)

If they are horizontal, you would look fatter
Even better, just go basic black, like me-- very slimming!
