John Williams (not the composer) - he's a classical guitarist, and amazingly good :-) Andres Segovia was even better, but he's gone now. Chet Atkins (deceased) and Roy Clark are excellent pop/country guitarists.

I like Jimi Hendrix (enough said), Jimmy Page (once again, enough said), Kurt Cobain (I love the way he plays, the whole grunge sound), Tom Morello (from Audioslave and RATM, he makes the coolest riffs and sounds on the guitar), and David Gilmour (from Pink Floyd, I love the sound of his guitar).
