you have done the giving up thing........maybe you could take something up instead, pray more, reflect on christ in your life more, study the bible/other spiritual books(cathecism etc..),almsgiving,be more active in your parish/community,be more friendly(not saying you are not already friendly), etc.......
sometimes it is better to take something up to draw you closer to christ for that is the main reason for lent and all catholic practices.good luck and god bless.

Lent doesn't have to always involve giving something else. What about saying the rosary daily during Lent? Extra prayer is a wonderful Lenten activity. Or, you can make a commitment to save whatever amount of $ you can afford each day and donate that to a mission. You can also do extra things in service of others during Lent: help an elderly neighbor, visit someone in the hospital or in a nursing home, or watch someone's kids. Good luck, and God bless!

This one is tough- give up selfishness. I'm not saying you're selfish, but we all are in some way. Try making a commitment to being considerate of others as much as possible- it sounds easy, but if you look at your daily life objectively, you might be surprised how much improvement you can make. Good luck and have a blessed Lenten season.

This year for lent we've asked our kids to do something instead of giving up something. We've asked them to try to do one thing each day either:
a.) To help someone else have a better day.
b.) That they really don't want to do
c.) Something that needs done without being asked.
I've also know people to give up swearing, to make a commitment to pray more each day and things llke that.

Why give up? Give up on all the nice foods and things?
Lent should be a joyful celeberation of Jesus Christ resurrection.
He had triumphed over evil.
Go and celebrate! Be joyful!
Invite your friends and have a party!

Look at your bad habits.
Are you cynical?
Are you sarcastic?
Do you gossip?
Find the one bad habit that hurts your relationship with God the most.
Work on that bad habit during Lent and then when Lent is over keep working on it.
With love in Christ.
