No, absolutely not. The whole point of the period is the bleeding out of the lining. However, your period can temporarily stop for various reasons without being pregnant, such as irregular cycles if you are still young, a body fat percentage of less than 7%, and certain medications that may alter your hormones.

not bleed at all or very little? I am on depo provera usually my periods are a few spots every day for about 5-6 days. Not enough to even warrant wearing a pad for it.
