Actually, there is, only we don't call it that. In fact, it's every month as traditionally we have overlooked the accomplishments of people of color at the expense of those of European stock. If you are female, I think you can appreciate such disparities as I think they generally hold true for the treatment of women in history as well. I only wish there were more balance in the first place so that we now didn't have to deal with racist name-calling. Should the teaching of the teaching of African Americans be limited to the shortest month of the year? (Please don't answer; it's a rhetorical question:-)

I once asked this of a family member, and I was told that "every" month is white history month. If that's true, then no one should be able to call white folks any racist names during any month except their own. So, in February, blacks can say what they want about whites, file lawsuits against whites, etc, but only in February. The same would be said for other ethnic groups during their months.

Well, you'd first have to define "white". What does "white" culture consist of? Where do "white" people come from? If you can answer that, then you'll know whether or not such a holiday is justified.

No, not that I know of BUT there should be!!! If there is Black History month then, they should have white, tan, and everyone history month!!! LOL
