i need to take one more social/behavioral science course to fulfill my general ed in that area. what course would you recommend taking and why?
this is NOT intended for my major (biochem), ONLY general ed

Take an intro to psychology or sociology class.

Why don't you ask someone on your own campus, because they would know the specific courses you could choose from, they would know the profs and their reputations too. Read the course descriptions in the catalog. What sounds interesting to you? That is more important than asking others what they would take.

from what I know, if you take an intro psychology or intro sociology class, they are generally easy and interesting
