How about writing a short story on not having any of your own ideas for a short story????
no just kidding.... Write about something really serious that happened to you recently, like a breakup, death of a pet.. something really meaningful.. Think of a character, place etc.. Then write about it using the emotions you felt when experiencing it. Then it will be more powerful. Teachers like tearjekers.

write about a caveman who comes into the future to 2007, and also a person from now who goes back in time 15,000 years ago.
write about what they do in their strange environment. Maybe the caveman rampages through a mall and ends up in jail after he steals a Nintendo.

My teacher makes us write stories too. We write poems and stuff. Just write about whatever you like to do or something like that. Good luck!

An angel makes a deal with the devil to spend 2 weeks with a human woman. When the woman finds out that he will die, he makes a deal with the devil to keep him alive as a human. In the end, the devil tricks them and demands her life instead of his.... So she is dead and he is forced to live out his human life without her.
