Why would a company just randomly pick someone and give them a prize? It is all a scam. Everyone sees the same ad.

It's a scam. They either redirect you to a site to complete some stuff that's eventually going to cost you money or some install virus' and spyware. My advice is if it sounds too good it probably is.

OK here we go.
Pop-up blocker is a pop-up blocker.You really should activate it.
And the free stuff,it not a scam nor they say free but it not, you might just have to do something like write something for them, sign up for stuff that obviously cost or its a lottery game(like they pull out your name and you might win 1 out of 100,000 chance).
or like the guy in here said:"ITS A VIRUS!!!" lol...

Yes, of course it's a scam.

The purpose is to get your contact information so they can send spam and junk mail (or viruses)

I've seen ads for the PS3 since 2004 (over a year before its launch date was even announced)

i clicked on one of those once and it went on for like hours asking for loads of information and asking me what websites i wanted junkmailing me i put in all fake info and then it said it would notifiy me if i won and it never did.
my friend got s virus from clicking on one of those once.
