I offshored and idea and now its made and I got paid. Now i want my own programers in America. I dont know anything about programing companies. What kind of programres and what experience do they need to have for me to build a company where I can make server based applications? If i could get a list with all the people i need to hire, and some more information on how everything works would be really apreciated. Also if you could tell me around how much each one of these employees makes would be great too. Thanks in advance!

Would you like us to start the company and staff it for you? Perhaps we could find office space as well. Where would you like the company to be?

If you are trying to get established in the US, your topmost criteria for developers is that they have previous experience working for a small/starting firm.

Second to that, you are going to want to get very experienced developers - not entry-level. Obviously veteran programmers are more expensive, but an organization can only take on entry-level developers when it can absorb the lost productivity training them. Your first few years should be focused on building a sound client base and portfolio. The last thing you want to worry about is delivering your first job *and* training the guy fresh out of college.

Depending on the technology and the location, a good experienced programmer is going to expect a salary of between 65,000 and 95,000 a year and good health insurance.

If you are talking about "how everything works" as far as setting up a company, you will probably need to hire a US-based firm to help you set up a presence in the US. You must have a federal employer ID number for tax purposes, to start, and there is a mountain of paperwork and an extensive approval process for foreign-owned companies.

You might be better off buying these services from an amercian company for a year at first. I'm sure there are 100's of companies offering all the services you need.

I'll do the whole thing for you for $10MM/yr, you'll only need to worry about 1 employee - me. I'll take care of the rest.
