I love them, they're my favorite band ever, Just want to see what others think. Although, even if you hate them, that won't make me like them any less :)

They are so versitle... the music changes pretty dramatically over the time they were recording... favorite song is probably "Got to get you into my life"

They're cool and all, but way overrated. There was a lot of great bands during that era of music. They were different, and, at that time, thats all music fans needed. Something different that expressed their views. Don't get me wrong... I think they were incredibly talented, but i'm not gonna name my kids John, Paul, George, and Ringo. (ok maybe ringo, its a badass name)
Whats going to set music then, and music now apart, isn't its relevance, but its accessibilty. Now we've got music downloads, sattelite radio, and about 50 different music TV stations. Being amazed by a new genre of music is hard, today. I think we get bombarded by so many different groups, that falling in love with 1 band and keeping them your #1 favorite group forever is tough. You wait 5 minutes you'll love someone new.
While i'm not a huge fan, i can admit they are one of the last "super groups". They've no doubt stood the test of time. I find it hard to believe that anyone will still be singing along to "Sexy Back" in 40 years. At least i hope they don't.
Anyway, if i had to pick a song i would say... Live and Let Die. Great question.

I do like them. The reason: all their albums are great, they have mesmerizing and catchy melodies, tight rythm sections, and simple but honest lyrics. My favorites are "Eleanor Rigby", "We Can Work It Out", "The Long and Winding Road" and "Fixing a Hole".
P.S: Some guy said "Something in the Way She Moves" was one of his favorite songs. He doesn't even know the right song's title...
