Yes. It's easier to say that then to do it.

Pick things you can do --- NOW.

Saving our world is going to take alot of hard work

I like to think that the one thing I can do is:
CONSUME LESS (We don't use plastic at all)

Hand-wash dishes, take shorter showers (don't take baths). Another way to save water is to fit your shower with fittings that use less water. (check out the water conservation section on greenfeet http://store.greenfeet.com/items.asp?cc=... )

We use little to no plastic (Since plastic is made from byproducts of oil), And the plastic we do use, we re-use. (Link to greenfeet plastic bag dryer below)

Recycle everything that you can. And if your city does not offer recycling of some things, write to your politicians!! get involved.

OH & reuse shopping bags -- get some great ones at http://www.reusablebags.com/

-- OFCOURSE, i've only named a couple things you can do off the top of my head.
Driving less is also a great goal, I bike in the summer, but am too weak not to drive in the winter.

Buying biodegradable products are important too, cutting down on packaging by buying in bulk.

IF everyone made little improvements like this, I do believe we can fix the problem

So get right on that. Stop using electricity, transportation, and all commercial products and go live in harmony with the wildebeest. Actually, you said "fix", not just "stop causing", so you may want to build a carbon sequestering facility in your backyard.

The only ones who can do anything about Global Warming are the people-influencers: the policy makers and the people who bribe the policy makers.

winston churchill said: " America always does the right thing, after they have exhausted all other possiblities." i also truly believe that america and most of the UN will "do the right thing" by going green, eventually. but the problem will be with the developing nations who are still in an industrial phase and not in a post-industrial period like the european, and north american countries. getting these nations on board will be the hard thing.

You are correct, it is everybody. But ordinary people need leadership to follow and green products to use instead of wasteful ones. Also, the focus should be on the biggest polluters because that is where the biggest benefit comes.
