I have to design a website about drugs for my uni project. The illegal kind! I don't know alot about drugs but have looked at some sites and have come up with a list of things for a brainstorm on the subject of drugs. So far my list is Cocain, heroine, speed etc and all other major drugs. Aids, brain damage, pills, a way out, depression, addiction, dealers, suppliers, prison sentance, Talk to frank. I am really struggling to think of more things inwhich I could use as imagery or anything else useful for the site. If anyone can think of any usefull additions to my list it would be a great help. Thanks.

How about incorporating pictures of items that are used to implement drugs, for instance, the large bottle type pipe or bong, a joint, spoon and foil used for heroin, hypodermic needle etc etc. Portray them in a negative light to reinforce the damaging influence it has on users and user's family and friends.

How about listing some of the adverse effects of taking some of these drugs? Eg. amphetamines and cocaine increase your blood pressure and can cause collapse and stroke, cannabis reduces libido and fertility (despite the fact everyone thinks it is harmless), heroin reduces your respiratory rate and is very easy to overdose on as you quickly lose your tolerance to it, heroin addiction can be controlled by the use of methodone programs but there is no cure, methodone programs usually need to be for life as you can never fully get rid of your body's physical dependence on heroin.

withdrawal, detox, rehab, craving, crave, suicide, danger, exciting, emotions, self-hate, high, low, isolated, desperate, fiend, insomnia, ill, despair, love, hate, struggle, AA, NA, cope, survive, secrecy, shame, powder, smoke, inject/shoot/bang, snort, prescription, illegal

if you haven't already benzodiazepine addiction might be worth including (it's pretty common and has one of the longest -and arguably most dangerous- detox/withdrawals of all drugs).

Sounds like an interesting site you're setting up, I'd love to have a look and maybe give you feedback (if you want and/or need it).
