He is the author of NONE of it. He just compiled various mythological traditions into one book. Bullfinches Mythology.

Nope. Just the author of a few books on the subject...most of the infromation in them has been shown to be...inaccurate...with regards to the actual myths and legends of the various cultures he worte about. Whether this inaccuracy was intentinal or not is still debated among serious scholars.
