did i get rejected?
and should i stay friends with him???
and u thoughts on this experince?

i told a guy that i liked him. all my friends told me that he liked me and that i should tell him when i did he said this:
"Alright... I'm going to be brutally honest... You've got the wrong one. Don't worry, its common. I'm manipulative. I have a friendly sugar coat of charm, and quirkiness. But at heart I'm a drug addict, an alcoholic, and I'm selfish. I'm only 18, the world revolves around me. Its all about the pursuit of happiness. I don't want relationships, all I want is drugs, *****, and music (in that order). I don't date girls, I exploit them. The only joy I get from girls other than physical touch is watching them squirm because their head over heals in love and I could careless. You've got the wrong one."

key word here: addict.. what part of staying friends with that is hard to understand hun? who needs to be dragged down spiritually and self confidence wise? who needs to be rejected ? who needs to be mentally abused. he is not in order.. of the right mind to support you as a friend or lover.. I say to the pits.. of lions den.. sadly be tuf now or you will be weak thru your whole life giving in weeping and trying to make sense of it all and men (some) prey on this quality of weakness. In other words have pride and get way from him.he has issues you cannot heal.

Well, yeah, it sounds like you got rejected..but it doesn't sound like it was a bad thing...lol
The guy sounds pretty ****** up. I guess you could stay friends with him if you wanted, but I definitely wouldn't consider pursuing anything else with him. I'm not even sure I could be friends with someone if he were really that selfish and messed up?
You're better off that he was honest though, and that's a credit to him.
