The best time to take a test is the day that your period is due or after that day. More than likely it is too early. If you are pregnant, the egg & sperm are still fusing and forming the cells that make the baby. You need to give your body a chance to build up the hCG hormone, that the test will detect.

I was 8 days late when I went to the supermarket and bought 2 home pregnancy tests. Both were positive and now I have a beautiful boy!

You can purchase test that you can take up to 5 days before your missed periode.. However beware sometimes it is to early and it does not detect HGC so you can get a false negative..
Good luck!

Wait about another week. Give your body time to have a good level of hormone so that you can get a accurate reading.
