okay so i'm only a month preg. but i swear i'm already showing! my pants are starting to get tight. this is my second pregnancy and i didn't show with my son until i was 5 months preg. is it normal to start showing so soon with your second pregnancy?

Not usually. If it is already showing you've got to be at least 3 months pregnant, or it may be some other condition like pseudocyesis (or false pregnancy), and others. Be sure to go to a doctor for your prenatal checkups. Ultrasound will confirm how far along your pregnancy is.

You're most likely bloated. It's normal to show sooner with later kids, but 4 weeks is too soon. The baby is still a embryo and your uterus hasn't even started to expand yet. However the HCG (pregnancy hormone) causes weird things to go on in our bodies. It causes bloating and swelling in our digestive organs. Congrats!

They say you do show earlier with the second because everything has already stretched once. I am 6 weeks and my clothes are feeling tight (2nd baby). The only other possibility is you may be having multiples.

I don't know about showing at 4 weeks but I have heard many women start showing quite a bit earlier with subsequent pregnancies.

it is normal specially if you went back to your normal size or maybe your even slimmer than you were with my two sons I did not show until my 5 month but with this one I'm exactly like you

It is. Seems like as soon as I was pregnant the 2nd and 3rd times, my body sort of said, "Oh, I know how to do THIS..." and whammo, I'd be in maternity clothes!!

May be twins....I got big fast too on first pregnancy....get an ultrasound....good luck...twins are double trouble, twice the cost, but definitely twice the love and fun!!!

Yes. Your uterus is not as tiny as it used to be. I think that it is perfectly normal. Especially because you have an increase in hormones, which can cause your belly to bloat.
