if it didn't get out, keeping in a tampon can cause toxic shock syndrom which can ruin your reproductive organs and is horrible and makes u horribly sick. You should never keep a tampon in for longer than 6 - 8 hours depending on how heavy the flow. So tell your mom and try to lie down and relax and try to (i know this sounds gross) stick your finger up and dry to move it down, if it goes further up make an appointment with a doctor ASAP!

OMG hunn i would contact a medical physician asap you are only suposed to leave tampons in for a maximum of 8hours.Are you 100% positive it is still there maybe you took it out but wasnt forgot about or something because tampons cant really get lost in the body but it maybe stuck all the way at your cervix

If you can't get it out yourself, you need to go to the doctor and have them remove it as soon as possible. If a tampon is left in too long, after 9 hours, you can get Toxic Shock Syndrome.
Here's a link for more information on Toxic Shock Syndrome.

OMG. that was not a good thing to do. are you positive its still up there? did you get a new one all the way in? if so try to get both out. i would tell my mom if i were you. this is serious. never leave a tampon in for more than 8 hrs. you probably already have TTS. so really i think you should go to a gyno. let us know what you do please.

OK, first of all, get your mom and u=yu made need a doctor, 2nd of all, If it is your first period, I don't suggest using tampons right away, and if you do use them, you're nto supposed to wear them all day! Maybe 4 hours. Change wehn you, wake up, after lunch, and b4 u go to bed.

Sweetie, I am 40 years old and I have never put anything in "there" that I coudn't get out. LOL If you have a tampon inside you, you WILL be able to feel it with your fingers. Gravity will bring it down. You may be mistaken thinking that it is still inside you.

Visit the doctor.
And next time don't leave a tampon in more than six hours, or you increase your risk of TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome).

Are you sure it didn't come out? I would lay on your back and try to get it out. Relax too. Tense muscles are a lot more difficult to work with. P.S. The longest you should ever leave one in for is 8 hours.

Did you go to the doctor about it? I don't use tampons. It might've slipped out or something. You should still get it checked out though cause it could become serious.
