There's a bunch of talk about Jason Kidd going to LA, but there's the question of who'll be invloved. For the Lakers, we know they wouldn't trade Kobe. I don't think they'll trade Lamar, although he's not playing so well from his recent injury. Also, I don't think they'll give Andrew Bynum who has a bright future and perhaps the future of the franchise. The best they could give are Jordan Farmar, Luke Walton, Kwame Brown, etc. There's also more rumors that Portland will get involved trading Jamaal Magloire. What's your guys take on this? Will the trade go down? It would be sick to see a Kidd, Kobe, and Lamar trio, and can't forget the upcoming Bynum.

I think Chris Mihm, maybe Farmar, and maybe a few drafts picks would go. But the trade probably wouldn't be direct. They would get the Blazers involved. Some of the Lakers' pieces would go to Portland, Jamal Magloire would go to L.A., never play a game, ship him to New Jersey with something else.
But reportedly won't move J-Kidd unless they can find a deal for Vince Carter, which might happen. Atlanta is probably the front runner.
Bottom line, IF Kidd gets traded, I'll guarentee it's to LA.

The Nets would be stupid to trade Kidd for the players people are saying they might. I think they could get many better trade offers for Kidd. The Nets should have tried to do this trade earlier, not less than two days before the trade deadline. I think the Nets might make a stupid decision and trade Jason Kidd to the Lakers. How will Jason Kidd feel next year when he is sitting on the bench in the all-star watching Steve Nash start?

youre right, lakers dont wanna trade kobe, lamar, walton, or bynum. which begs the questions: why would the nets take garbage for a superstar? farmar? please. they already have marcus williams, who i believe will be better than farmar. mihm and brown suck and get injured, plus krstic is better than both of them. i really dont see how the lakers get kidd w/o giving up either odom or bynum first.

I don't think that the Lakers should go for Jason Kidd. I don't know a lot about the guy, but I think they should hold out until Kevin Garnett is available. That would equal championships

I doubt it.. most major trade rumors never happen. He might end up getting traded either before this Thursday or after this season is over, but I'm guessing it won't be to LA.

if it happens which i hope it doesnt it was gonna be Brown,McKie,Mihm,Parker,Cook,Willilams would leave the lakers some going to Portland(Mihm, Williams) Lakers getting Kidd and Collins
