I am so confused. My mom asked me and i didn't know. I need some help.

The numbers and letters refer to the size and shape of the stick. The higher the number, the thinner the stick. It is a system used that is similiar to "gauge" size. Your 7A sticks are a light, Jazz type stick. 5A's would be thicker and good for rock drumming. A set of 2B's would be thicker and heavier towards the shoulder of the stick, thereby good for marching drums or heavy metal.

it means the size. like the size would be a number, then a letter. that means what size stick it is. trust me i took drums in band class in 5th grade.
