How many AP classes are too many?

Im a Junior and So far ive taken 1 AP. Next year im planning on a lot more

Just taking them looks good... doing well on the AP test at the end and possibly earning college credit is bonus.

Don't overload yourself and end up doing poorly, but usually AP courses come with an extra GPA point to make up for maybe a lower performance.

I actually found the AP courses much better (less homework) with more of the emphasis placed on test taking. So consider how you liked the one you've taken so far and see if that type of format suits your skills better.

Either way, remember... the more you have, the more you are distinguished from other applicants. And don't forget to apply for scholarships.

How are you handling the work load? I took 4 over all in high school. Two my senior year, and that was enough for me even though I could have taken more. You have to decide for yourself what you can handle and what would be good for you. You don't want to kill yourself with work senior year!

soph year i took european history. junior year i took us history. and this year im a senior and taking ap calc and ap english. and i personally think that 2 is good for me... my school does offer others but i didnt want to bite off more than i could chew...

good. the more the better. if you are smart enough. it's a lot more fun than reagualr class. you don't get the idiots who are happy to just pass and like t tease eachother and fly paper airplanes.

If you are in high school, I think it is important what your goal is for taking them ? If you are taking them for college etc. make sure how the majority of the colleges look at them?
