NO!!!! Yes Paul Pierce is a great player, but trading Sheed for him would change the whole way the team is shaped. How can you have Pierce Billups Prince and Hamilton all on the court. That may sound good, but a team like Dallas would tear through that sort of defense.

i don't really think so because pierce plays 2/3 and also the pistons need a big guy like sheed since they got rid of Ben

pierce isn't a pistons guy eney how he wouldn't look right in a pistons jersey, lol

That's an unlikely trade, very unlikely. But Prince for Pierce, that'd be a tough decision. Rasheed it aging and not getting any better, he's definitely not worth it for Pierce. So the Celtics won't trade Paul Pierce for Rasheed Wallace. I'll guarantee it!

as talented as pierce is, i wouldn't do it if i were joe dumars...sheed is one of those "glue" guys, who doesn't score a whole lot but is vital to a team's success because he does the little things well, such as play lockdown defense and get tough rebounds and loose balls...pierce is more a flashy scorer type and wouldn't fit well into the "team" mentality of the pistons

no way! sheeds the best player on the team and pierce isn't the right type of player. He wouldnt fit in right with detroit.

well were would they put prince because pierce plays the 2/3.
and besides, you would need ALOT more than rasheed for paul pierce. detroit needs sheeds size, rebounding, and defense anyways.
