even though you said try not to put too much country carrie underwood sings a really good song called "before he cheats" it's country though but still very very good. trust me i thought i would never listen to country and this song (only this song) drew me in. try bands like senses fail or cute is what we aim for, or fall out boy their new cd is really really good!!! "thnks fr th mmrs" by fall out boy is really good!!! or metro station "california". you could even try archie star "let's get married" thats a really good song! I dont know much hip hop songs for you...but these bands are definitely putting on you ipod worthy!

I agree, the new fall out boy CD is definatly worth a listen. Also, if you are into "everything", try "Cupid's Chokehold" by Gym Class Heros, its genre breaking. Anyone could really enjoy it. Stone Sour- through glass is a very good slower song worth checkign out as well
