Is it possible for my Nokia mobile to overheat,screen to go black and not hear it ringing?

Could it overheat not work then work fine later?

No LCD screens like being in direct sunlight. When exposed to direct sunlight the screen will go black and overheating the electrics inside can cause it to temporarily malfunction.

Keep your phone out of the sun and you will be OK...
