Is it University of Toronto...? I don't know for sure but many friends of mine are saying it's very hard to get in to this particular university!

jeffery m- just to let you know I got accpeted in to york as well and it was realy easy to get into!

in most programs, that would be york university. however, if you r attending law, the u of windsor is very hard to get into.

The answer to your question is completely dependant on the program.
If you want to major in engineering, the most competitve and hardest to get into is the University of Waterloo. UW is the top ranked engineering school in the country and has a worldwide reputation. Even Bill Gates personally comes to UW and hires more UW students then from any other school in the world.
If you want to major in commerce, then Queen's has the highest standard.
If you are looking at business, then University of Toronto or UBC.
If you are looking at teaching, then Nippissing has the best Teacher's College.
York is a good school but I wouldn't say it is too difficult to get into. All universities require decent grades for acceptance. York may require better grades then say Laurentian but I wouldn't say it is the hardest.
Also good: Simon Fraser, University of Western, MacMaster, McGill...

Here at the University of Toronto there are about 2500 applicants every year for medicine. Most, if not all of them, have BSc degrees.....some of them MSc. About 1 in 300 is accepted. Some have been trying to enter the course for 3-4-5 years.
