My favorite book would have to be The Rag and Bone Shop by Robert Cormier. I absolutely positively love this book because of the plot and the ending. Robert Cormier has brilliantly put together an enjoyable thriller that's gripping snd captivating. His flow of words makes the ending more unexpectable than it was to begin with. This novel is about Jason, a shy insecure 12 year old boy who's not very social. His only friend is hias neighbor, 7 year old Alicia Bartlett, and even she occasionally teases him. Alicia gets brutally murdered and guess who the prime suspect is? Jason.

Wilson Rawls wrote a book called Where the Red Fern Grows. I first heard it when I was in 5th grade and I still read it about once a year and I am 32.

Cold Comfort Farm. It's just such an amusing twist on the classic over-wrought dramatic Victorian novel, and the characters are so unique.

I adore it!
