maybe when you first told him he was in shock and now the shock has worn off, you didn't do anything wrong other than expect your brother to have your back on this and now he has changed his colors and is treating you like dirt, which you don't deserve; he is the one in the wrong because he is probably in denial, just give him time and hopefully he will come around and if not he is not the person that you thought and he is all that much poorer for it. Good luck.

The shock could just be setting in for him possibly?

Also, did you know the word "dyke" usually has a very derogatory meaning?

You might want to use the word "lesbian" instead since it has a less offensive connotation?

This happened to me too. I figure it's because at first they think, "Well, she's my sister," but it gets to them after a while for some reason. Unless you tried to push your sexuality upon him, you didn't do anything wrong. Just be who you are, even if he doesn't except you. It's a hard thing to do, but eventually you'll get through it. Good luck yo! ^.^

Ask him. If he is unwilling to discuss it with you, walk away. Try again every once in a while, but don't agonize over it. He's got to deal with his own demons first - it's not you.
