Some people just want to fall in love desperately/ have severe emotional problems - you can't love someone you've never met! Just tell her you aren't looking for a relationship at the minute. If she doesn't accept that (quite likely), then change your number or try ignoring her. I had a similar experience with a guy I "met" online - they tend not to listen, so if she doesn't accept the kind approach, be blunt.

Be truthful. Tell her that this is not love. You don't even know each other. If you are not interested in continuing the relationship be tough. You have to tell her how you really feel. Don't be cruel or hateful. Just lay it out. You do not want a relationship that is phone based.

In texting just let her know your not interested in her that way, there is no gentle way, you have to be forward and don't respond to her texting in a sexual way, or phone in the same way. Don't always answer her, because woman get caught up in romance very easy so by you constant responding to her texting/phone calls it leading her on even if that not your intent.

The choice of words in your question doesn't say that you want 'to get rid of her' GENTLY. If really gently, then try retracing your steps.. gradually, finally to sever all contacts.

did it ever occur to you not to take her calls or better yet to block her number? or you could just tell her to leave you alone that you aren't in-love with her and if she doesn't leave you alone you will go to the police.
