OMG me too! I ovulated on the 10th, tested negative on the 17th. I'm waiting until the 23rd (Friday to retest). So far, I'm only 4 days late, but that isn't like me.
I've been doing my research, and it seems that most women get their first + test at about 14 days past ovulation. Some get the + sooner and some later. Also, blood tests seem to give more accurate results. I've got an appointment with my OBGYN, and would suggest you make one as well.
Best of luck to you... blowing baby dust your way!

Old school used to say wait until you have passed one complete cycle. Meaning if you don't start on time, take one a few weeks after that to get an accurate reading. I'm sure the tests these days are much more advanced then when I had my babies though..=)

There are some women who don't show up on a HPT until they are quite late for their period. Don't get discouraged. I would wait until the weekend and if no period then test again using first morning urine and an early test. GOod Luck

i had a fue problems with my tests my last period was in dec and by the 14 feb i still didn't have one so i did a home test it came up neg so i went and seen my dr. and he did a blood test it came up neg too this was on the 15 i had that done.
i went and had another blood test done yesterday 20/2/07 and it come up pos so i guess it all depends on your cycle and when you conceived i would go and have a blood test done and go from there.
good luck.

I always test a week after I'm late. My results have always been accurate.

I'm a man, so I didn't have this problem, but if I were pregnant, I'd know because my abdomen would get larger.
