You will need to show proof that you have a degree in teaching. To work in NY as a teacher you also have to take a few teacher exams and also a few classes - one on child abuse , for example. (Tienes que tomar algunos examenes del estado de nueva york para ensenar aqui). I took an exam in general education, one in my subject area and one for English.
