Ok While Looking at the requirments for some games I relized that F.E.A.R. (And Many Other Games) dont have the NVIDIA geforce 7300gt on their list of supported chipsets. Will My Game Still Work?

PS - All of the games im looking at supprt lower cards such as Gefore 6600? What Is Up With This? Thanks

If it supports any 7 series chipset the game is compatible with all 7 series chipsets, including the 7300GT. As far as capabilities go, a 7300 is functionally just a much, much slower version of a 7900GTX. It can do everything the high end card can do, just a lot slower. A GeForce 7300 is about as fast as a 6600 so your game should run fine.

FYI, if they recommend a GeForce 6600/Radeon X1300, what they are really saying is they recommend a card that supports Pixel Shader 3.0, which all GeForce 6, 7, and higher cards and all Radeon X1k series cards do.

I know for certain that the game will run at low fps, not worth playing. Also the makers of F.E.A.R will not provide tech support to help you

Run the game. The first time you start it, It will analyze your system and automatically set the best setting. See if your satisfied

F.E.A.R has amazing graphics which is why it can run on your card. Other games like halo and C&C don't need great cards. Graphic card only last two years before you new games require better ones. I recommend that you buy a mid end card that pack performance such as EVGA 256-P2-N624-AR GeForce 7900GS

The system requirements provided are minimum requirements (GeForce 4) and minimum recommend requirements (GeForce 6600). If your graphics processor is a higher model than the recommended it will work even better.
