Why is it that I am reading past questions and searching online and I don't really see anything about the Disney Princess Megara (From Hercules)? I see Ariel, Mulan,Jasmine, etc. but what about Megara? I'm mean I love these princesses, but Meg was my favorite Princess, because she saved Hercules life and she wasn't looking for love, love just kind of found her. Plus, I love the song "I Won't Say in I'm in Love". Why do you think this is? Do you think it's because she didn't actually marry a prince so most people don't consider her a princess? In the movie she married Hercules (Who was a god in the movie) so isn't that close enough to a prince? Or did people just not enjoy this movie?

Wait if Megara's father Creon is the king of Thebes than that means Megara is The princess of Thebes! But she still didn't marry a prince.

I don't think she was considered a princess because Hercules wasn't actually a prince. Plus people tend to disreguard some of the more recent Disney gals.

She's not a princess, she's not even a character in the original myth. I love Meg dearly, but she can't hope to be counted among Belle, Aurora and Snow White, simply because she's not the same as them. (My opinion? She's WAY more epic!)
