Rather irresponsible for anyone to tell you how to disable an armed system, and I won't give you any hints...

If the system is already disarmed you can unplug the AC and disconnect the battery. This will often generate a tamper alarm to the monitoring station, but will effectively shut the system down until power is restored.

Generally you can't, it's not like the movies.

I used to work for an alarm installation company. Half the time even the engineers couldn't turn them off... And as for the number of owners that would "accidentally" set them off (three times a day, three days a week), don't even go there!

Depends on how well it's installed. If done properly, you most likely can't.

You can try disconnecting the phone line at the telephone company interface box on the side of the house.

On my house, we make it look like the phone line is active there - but it isn't. You'd set off the alarm, but think the cops aren't notified - but they are on the way;)

All of them have batter backup, so killing the power won't do it.
