A lot of newspapers will carry a listing of HUD and VA foreclosed houses up for auction. Banks and mortgage companies in the area that you want to buy in may be able to provided you with a list of their properties. Some real estate agents specialize in foreclosed home and will be happy to provide you with a current list and keep it updated as long as you are looking. Just keep in mind that foreclosed houses may require a lot more cosmetic work than homes that are being voluntarily sold.

Call your local Title companies. many of them will provide an email list, hoping that you will use them if you decide to buy a property
