Can we stop using this archaic term "landlord" somehow? What about "Landministrator"?

That was really cool of you to let him address you like that. I think the term "landlord" is silly and quite egotistical. I would want someone to call me by my name, simple as that. :)

Happy renting!

In the UK, instead of calling you a landlord, I would call you licensed victualler or owner. Look at the brightside, you're not being called a slumlord.

you are "the landlord"

if you want to be a neighbor..that will be in how you behave...

as the tenant gets to know you better they will address you as "landlord"......or by "name"

they maybe do not need another friend......
in actuallity....they are finding....."landlord" when they need something done.............and will call you by name if they invite you to the family barbeque (and you know that won't happen)..

it is what it is............if your a good landlord....they will start to call you by name.....and use "landlord"...when your not... acting ..as such......or "landlord" when they want something........

Sorry man...can't have both. Next thing this "neighbor" of yours will want certain "favors". You can't really be both.
