my lower left side of my abdomen hurts while im walking and laying down sometimes...sitting down... whats going on it started this morning,,, im not sure whats wrong..i delivered my first baby at 38 wks and it lasted 5 hours any chance if im already going to be in labor right now...it comes and goes...( the pains) im going to be 36 wks this thursday...I called the doctor and they said it can be the ligaments stretching but all day i dont believe that...thanks any advice please

i try to time them but my 1 yr old wont let me she disturbes me and yes im kinda alone right now

If the pains come and go start timing them... but relax you might just be in the beginning stages of labor. If the pains really are contractions then they will get stronger and closer. When they get about 5 minutes apart or if your water breaks.... its time to head to the hospital, hope it helped.... Good Luck!

Your doctor is right, it could be ligament stretches and they get worse with every child. But you ultamitly know your body better then anyone and if you have tried position changes and the pain has bothered you all day then I would go in to the hospital and make sure.. even though doctors are smart they shouldnt replace your intuition. As far as going early, if you were early before it is a good indicator you could go early again.. just use you instincts and do what ever you feel your body is telling you..

How can you forget that contractions come and go? Time the pains. If they are contractions they will come with an amount of space between them that will decrease over hours. When they get 10 minutes apart head for the hospital.

Hey girl.
Its better to be safe than sorry.
Call a cab and you and your 1year old get to the hospital quick.
Sound like you might be in the early stages of labor.
Its better to get checked out now even if they send you back home.
You know the doctor's give us a due date but the baby always comes when he or she is ready.

I would agree with your Dr. For me it would last all day. I had to get a pregnancy belly band to get any relief. Contractions will come and go. They get longer and stronger and closer together you know it is real labor.

girl u could be going into labor i had my son 7 weeks early and had pain like that 5 hours later he was born .. go now ...be safe rather then sorry ..

When it's on your sides, my doctor told me it was braxton hicks.
