Not all viruses are pathogenic. Viruses must recognize specific receptors on the outer membrane of cells in order to infect the cell.

Colon is another name for large intestine. Escherichia Coli is a type of bacteria that lives in the large intestine. Look at the similarity between Coli and colon. Interesting right?

Gut bacteria are normally harmless. Bacteria in the intestines are actually beneficial because they produce essential vitamins and get rid of some of our wastes.

Steptococci is a type of bacteria that looks like a chain of spherical cells. It is responsible for strep throat and meningitis and other sicknesses.

A virus is a far better pathogen than a bacteria. It requires absolutely no energy to reproduce. Bacteria, on the other hand, must do all of their own life processes. However, if you're asking which is more deadly, it depends on the specific virus or bacteria. Some viruses are super infectious, but don't kill humans. Other viruses have difficulties being passed on, but are very deadly. The same is true with bacteria. In fact, there are trillions of bacteria living on/in you at this moment, and they're quite helpful for the most part. And there are viruses that can infect bacteria. They are called bacteriophage, and are invaluable tools in molecular biology.

I think the answer to the first one is yes. For the second one, yes colon is another name for large intestine. For the third one, yes gut bacteria are normally harmless, though sometimes they may not be (E.coli can cause disease I think though they are normally harmless). Streptococci is infact a bacteria which causes several diseases such as strep throat for example.

No, but they also aren't typically beneficial, like some bacteria

Yes, but in general, the term colon is usually the name given to the last part of the large intestine, the descending colon

More helpful than harmless, you couldn't get enough nutrition out of the foods you eat with them. Many can cause illness when allowed to grow outside of the gi tract.
