Ladislav Smid was acquired from Anaheim along w/ Joffery Lupal as part of the Pronger trade.

It's nice to see an Oiler Fan...what do you think of the Bergeron trade?

Ladislav Smid was an Anaheim draft pick before being sent to the Oilers in the Pronger trade. Edmonton is the only team he has played for in the NHL.

Smid is a rookie... He played for Portland of the AHL last year
