I've only been there once and looking at the restaurants seems overwelming. We're staying at the Rio.

They just opened up The famous Cafe Martorano from Miami at the Rio Hotel. It is pretty pricey, but definitely worth it. It's family style Philadelphia/Italian food. It's amazing. Just to share with you!

Japanaise in the Mirage is a cool place that offers a variety of a sushi and great appetizers, plus a cool lounge with a bar. I'm not sure, but I think there's a no T-shirts policy. Jeans are ok though.

Vegas is full of great places to eat at. You could always ask the concierge at your hotel for some suggestions. They can also make you reservations. That's what I usually do. Hope this was helpful!

When I go to Vegas (I'm from L.A.,) I always try to swing by Daily Chicken and Gyros. They are located off of Maryland Parkway (not too far from the strip,) between Flamingo and Tropicana. Appetizers are their specialty, actually. If you go past 5PM, you can also order hookah (it's on the menu,) if you're into that. The food is Mediterranean/Greek based. It's really yummy!

I'm going next week myself - I've heard that Carnaval Court Bar & Grill at Harrah's is supposed to be really good for fun/casual.
