I am addicted to myspace. I get on several times a day, and will stay on for hours if I'm not removed by force, and even then I throw a fight. I'm considering giving it up for lent. How can I break this addiction?

One day at a time. Starting tommorow don't get on myspace. If you can't handle the thought of one whole day think to yourself "I won't get on for the next hour" and keep telling yourself that all day. It will get easier. That or have someone change your password and not tell you what it is on both myspace and the email account you used to set it up. That way you can't log on at all.

That's pretty lame. Just do this: Realize that myspace is waste of time and you're not getting anywhere by going on it. Realize that myspace is waste of your youth. Realize that going on myspace for hours makes you a loser(no offense) and you need help. Realize that there are other ways of communicating to your friends. What ever happened to cell phones, home phones, texting, IM, and e-mail. Do not visit your myspace every day. Do it every other day and gradually every week and try to do a month without myspace.

One more thing. Go to your account and make it so you don't get messages about myspace. Keep busy with something else like funny you tube videos or video games. You can do it.

Find some other wensite to have your eyeballs roll out from. What you could also do is have somebody block myspace on your computer and not tell you the password. And maybe even get addicted to something other than the computer even! Trust me, if you don't do it yourself then your parent or guardian will have to get involved! Sooner or later, that will get ugly! Hope that helped ya!

Type in a long string of letters on say notepad. Copy it and paste it as your password. Random letters, ex. sdaoijarogjarragojgrj4ggg1r4t254td. Yeah. Exit the notepad thing without saving. Now you'll have changed your password to one you can't remeber and you're forced to lay off your myspace addiction.
EDIT: You can delete myspace accounts? Do that.

particular. i'm a sepcialist at this. First unplug your computing device then walk away out of your computing device lay in mattress in feetle place and turn on an episode of Roseanne. this would final only for as a result long, then you definately will path off and bypass lower back to myspace. save REPEATING the approach. you will quickly have the flexibility to stay OFF MYSPACE FOR AT LEEEEEAST 5 minutes.

I would say just delete your myspace but also you can block it on your computer so whenever your about to go on it it will be blocked and you'll remember "oh wait i shouldn't go on"

block it by going to tools internet options then securtiy and restricted sites :)

or get something else to busy yourself with like a job, volunteer work, school project, babysitting job, etc. basically anything that will keep you busy.
will power!!
