I too love uncommon names, but not so uncommon that they stand out in a negative way. You want your child's name to look nice on a resume. And, think that he or she will have to go for job interview with that name. And, what if they want their PhD and have to defend their thesis with a name like Remington.

Remington, they make razor's and other small beauty appliances.

Tinsley sounds too much like Tinsel (the stuff you put on the Christmas tree). But, I like the name because of the significance it has. So, maybe you could switch it to Bryton Tinsley? Otherwise - just go for it the way you have it.

Kerrigan when I said it out loud it sounds like "Here again" Is that how I should say it?

Zeppelin, Jagger, Laken, Ridge, Thijson are horrible. I can't even describe them.

Really like the other ones a lot though!!

I LOVE Keegan and wish it sounded better with my last name or I woud be using it for this baby.

Bryton is a great name and I like how you spelled it. I think it's easier to pronouce correctly the way you have it. I also really like Emerson. I think that is a very masculine and strong name.

Lyric is also nice.

You could even use Tinsley with as a middle name with any of the names you have.

Keegan Tinsley sounds nice :))

For a boy I would pick- Bryton Tinsley, even if it weren't for the reason behind the name, I think that name is soo cute!

And for a girl I would pick- Kerrigan Grier, That name is also too cute!

Congrats! And if you come to squalls with the hubby, what I did was just made a list of my favorites, and my hubby did the same, and if there was a match, that was the name... we had to do this a few times to get a good match :-D Hope this helps you out.

The only three I do not like are Zeppelin too trendy and Jagger also too trendy. And unfortunately I REALLY detest Nancy Kerrigan and that is what the name Kerrigan reminds me of. What names to saddle your children with especially if they are not impressed with Zeppelin or Jagger and who would be impressed with Nancy Kerrigan eww eww eww.Its fun to come up with unique names but sometimes a burden to be unique if your name is going to be the cause of ridicule.

The rest were incredibly unique yes even Racer and as long as the child is not expected to live up to the legend of the dead then naming the child after dead loved ones is an incredible tribute
I would go with Bryton Tinsley as it seems to flow a little better.

I like Bryton Tinsley for a boy and Kerrigan for a girl. The other names are okay except changing the spelling of Tyson that drastically. I would either keep it Tyson or go with Tison.

I like Tinsley Bryton, especially with the meaning behind the name. Plus, it's just a cute name which could suit a boy or a girl.

My fav would have to be Tinsley Bryton or Bryton Tinsley because you're paying homage to two people who are no longer in your life.

Other suggestions...

Callahan
Cillian
Murphy
Teagan
