FRIENDLIEST is: TEXAS!!!! Some wonderful folks live there!

STILL FRIENDLY: Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia (outside Atlanta,) Tennessee, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and South Carolina, in my experiences. Some parts of Utah, Oregon, and Kansas aren't too bad.

LEAST FRIENDLY: Well, several states could vie for this title. Any state east of the Mississippi and north of the Ohio (upper midwest/northeast.) Also, Kentucky and Florida are contenders.

I concur with you, Chandler!
Been living in Texas for 40+ years, and my family and I all agree that Texas has been good for us. We prior lived in Northern California (too $), and Ohio (too cold).

All in all Texas is #1 in friendliness
As far as least friendly, I hear-tell of Massachusetts, but since I've never roamed over there, I can't say fer certain!

Ye-haw!
