Yes I do feel sorry for the children who will have to try to undo what we, our parents, grandparents and those before them have done to our planet, this hasn't just happened overnight its been a long time in the making unfortunately, we have the power to do something about it now and a lot of people are doing their best by recycling, unfortunately the local councils and government aren't doing enough to encourage us all to help save our planet.

I feel bad about anything we've done to destroy what should be here, but I also don't feel as if EVERYTHING that happens, is the direct result of human interaction.

One generation hasn't destroyed the entire planet. What humans have done is the result of many generations. Even so, there are a lot of things happening on this planet, that would be happening if humans never existed. The earth is still very much alive. It grows and changes naturally.

We've done more in the past 20 years to conserve and protect than ever before. It's progress...not all doom and gloom. We can't ignore the things we can control, like water contamination, air pollution, over-use of natural resources, animal habitats...but we're AWARE now. We need to keep teaching our children what we've learned, and I think our end of the bargain will improve.

Sweetheart though man may try, we cannot substain this world, its all in Gods hands. Men will always bicker and fight. There will always be contention. So therefore let God be the judge, perfect and righteous as he is, any child here is still under the Love of God. Seems hard to believe, but its true.

It is better that a child dies in its youth, even in its infancy, rather than to live a full life of sinful activity and bringing condemnation upon self. The child that dies with go back to the Father.

I agree that people are some what selfish when it comes to the outcome of the planet. I guess to them it is far better for them to maintain their lifestyle than to consider future generations. The strange thing is many children are more considerate of the environment than adults. In the classroom, children remind each other often to turn off the water when it is not being used, to use only one paper towel, and to throw their milk cartons and scrap paper in the recycle bin.

our world is ever changing. Regardless of what we do or don't do the earth is not going to remain the same. Our best bet is to teach our children environmentally safe habits and keep our fingers crossed.
Global warming is inevitable humans are only helping speed up the process.

My conscience is clear..I didn't cause climate change. My contribution is like a gnat's pi55 in the pacific.Even if we all in the UK stopped driving and stopped flying and stopped burning fossil fuels,it would not make a ha'pennyworth of difference.
Climate change is a slow process, the green lobby are scaremongerers.

You can make an immediate and significant difference. use ethanol in your car instead of gasoline. It does not give off greenhouse gases or cause global warming. All cars can run on 10% ethanol. To learn more check out these websites:

having said that, its quite disgusting the way we treat our home planet to this day.

Every generation has to deal with something. But think of it this way: think of all the modern conveniences they're going to have when they're older. Maybe they'll have flying cars and cures for cancer and all that futuristic stuff.

I know how you feel. I am concerned too for the younger generation. But we have to have faith that mankind will come through all these difficulties. Each generation has had their problems and somehow manages to survive.
