C & O Trattoria in Venice on Washington Blvd. This place is awesome for large groups. And you will not disappoint with their killer Garlic Knots.

In downtown itself, I would recommend Ciao Tratorria on 7th. It is wonderful Italian. I would recommend the farfalla with shrimp in the cream sauce.
In Chinatown, I would reocmmend Hop Li for some really good, authentic Chinese food.
Both of these restaurants are conducive for group dining and would run you about $30 or less per person depending on how much you drink.
Enjoy.

I would definitely recommend “The Great Greek.” For $21.95 a person, you get a 15-course meal (check out their website if you don’t believe it...it’s at the bottom of the “dinner” section.) The food is really good, and there is live entertainment. Try to make a reservation if you plan to go with a group…it’s a really fun place to go. Trust me, everyone will really enjoy it.

Go to the Cheesecake Factory! They're awesome. You can also check out The Grove located on Third and one block east of Fairfax. They have a few more restaurants there as well.

Depends on the size of your group.
Italian - Il Fornaio is nice.
Family style Chinese food - NBC Seafood Restaurant in Monterey Park. 10 people per table.
Hotel banquet rooms.
