All continents are islands. The continent that has no major volcanic/seismic activity is Australia - it is in the middle of a plate and does not have any plate boundries going through it (these boundries are where most earthquakes/volcanoes are found). Australia does have earthquakes - just not as many and not as strong as on other continents. Antarctica also has few large earthquakes, but has many more than Australia.
