usually the sound driver software that was built for xp is already built into vista. no software needed.

so it has to be your chat program app of setting

Just get rid of vista and go back to XP... The reviews were abysmal... Or get a mac... (I'm an XP user before anybody slates me for being a mackie!)

u need sound drivers, u can get them by looking at the computer manufacturers website
