Is it possible to repair dead pixels on a LCD monitor?

The only thing I've ever heard of that doesn't involve taking anything apart was to gently rub the area around the pixel in a circular motion. (just hard enough so that the screen discolors, but no harder)

No a caught pixel won't be in a position to be repaired. attempt to stay with it. from time to time your visual show unit could have a guaranty that specifies what style of pixel defects are coated under the guaranty. that is well worth exploring. I son't understand what sort a L19721H is.
