I was just thinking about how poorly British football announcers pronounce Hispanic names. They say:

Joe-say for Ho-say (Jose Mourinho)
Jewlio for Hoo-lee-o (Julio Baptista)
Gomes for Goh-mez (can't think of who this was, but I heard it)

I know there are more.

Do all English people do this or is it just the football announcers?
