Since you are getting bigger as your pregnancy continues, there is more stress and strain on your back to keep you upright. The tension/cramping feeling, if it is constant and on the front or sides of your belly are round ligament pain. The ligaments that would normally hold your uterus in place are being stretched to capacity and like any stretching, will become sore if held too long. Imagine how sore your leg would be after doing a runner's stretch for 9 months.
Try to lay down on your side as much as your schedule allows, that will relieve most of the pressure. But also they have these wide elastic support belts that actually hold up the belly just an inch or so and pull it gently in, so it relieves some of the tension from the ligaments and centers you weight just a bit. Enough for a little break. Good luck.

Cramping could be braxton hicks contractions, those don't lead to labor. As for your back, baby is gettin big and he/she is pushing on your back. Back pain is a VERY yet annoying pregnancy ailment. But it wouldn't hurt to call your doctor and make sure nothing is wrong.

Might have pulled a muscle or stimulated a muscle group in the wrong way. Have you been pregnant before? Go to the doctor's office, it might lead to difficult breathing and labor if not treated. Hope you feel better!

It sounds to me like braxton hicks (false labour). I had that right around 30 weeks or so right up until I was induced. It is really uncomfortable. If you are concerned though it is always a good idea to get it checked out, it's better to be safe than sorry! Good Luck!

You could be having back labor, which is all I had with my daughter. Call your doctor and go to the labor/delivery ward to make sure you are not having preterm labor. It may just be a back ache, which are common in the last trimester, but better to be safe.

its all the weight in the front pulling on your back i suggest sitting in a comfortable chair or couch with a small pillow or balled up blanket against the small of your back with your feet up and perhaps some tylenol if you can take it.
