i've heard it's best to wait until the morning, something about your first...ahem trip to the bathroom having more hormones in the urine?
i'm due to start my period tomorrow morning. i got a first response early pregnancy sensitive test.
do i really need to wait until the morning to take it?
or could i take it now.

no your hormone reading is at its highest first thing in the morning and will give you a more accurate reading.

You can usually test any time of the day.
Just don't drink a lot of water trying to fill up your bladder and make yourself go as this may dilute your urine. Just do things as you normally would.
However I'd wait a day or two before testing, or you could risk testing too early. In very early pregnancy the hCG levels double daily, so just waiting an extra 24-48 hours could give you a more accurate result. However the day after your period is due would give you a high enough hCG to test anytime of the day.

Yes it is true that you should wait until the morning to take the test. The pregnancy hormones is much stronger then than any other time a day. use the first bathroom stop of the morning to take the test. it will then be more accurate.

It is best to wait to til the 1st day of your missed period.... more accurate results will be after a week..... you need to take the test with your first morning urine - the urine is more concentrated & not likely to be effected by excessive fluid intake like it can be during the day or late eveing. the early morning urine has the highest levels of the preg. hormone the test is looking to detect....
(hCG).......... despite the result you get with this test, if you haven't started within 3-5days (& you are normally regular)... then you should retake the test, again with first morning urine.
***Make sure to check the expiration date on the test kit - they do expire & if you are using an out of date test, your test results are inaccurate.

since you havent missed your period yet i would suggest the best chance would be waiting a few more days but i know how hard that can be when you really wanna know so at least wait til morning so you can have a better chance of good hormone levels. Good Luck.

I would wait a few more days as beautiful says. A negative this early may not be the right answer. These tests aren't fool proof.
But test the FIRST urine output in whatever AM you choose.

you should really wait til the am, due to your urine not being diluted by other fluids; however, if youre due to start your period tomorrow, youre hormone levels should be high enough to take the test anytime of day, if you are pregnant.
